Vacation Rentals are subject to 5% GST, 8% PST and 3% Hotel Tax. To confirm your reservation, a deposit of 50% of the Accommodation cost + $25 Processing Fee (non-refundable) is required. The balance of the Accommodation cost + Cleaning Fee + Pet Fee (when applicable) is required 30 or 60 days prior to arrival depending on the date of reservation. If you book within 30 or 60 days of arrival, depending on the date of reservation, the full cost of your Accommodation is payable at the time of reservation. We accept payment by Visa or MasterCard.
We have a 30-day cancellation policy September through May, and a 60-day cancellation policy June through September. If you cancel with 30 or 60 days’ notice or more, depending on the date of your reservation, your deposit – less a $78.75 Cancellation Fee ($50 + $25 Processing Fee + GST) will be refunded. If you cancel with less than the required notice, the entire cost of your Accommodation is non-refundable unless we are able to rebook the Accommodation for the same duration and cost.
A Cleaning Fee of $300 + GST is applicable per reservation.
A Pet Fee of $10 daily per pet + GST & PST is applicable. Please advise at the time of inquiry if you will be bringing one or two dogs.
Housekeeping is not included during your stay and is provided after departure. Housekeeping can be requested during your stay, with sufficient notice, at a cost of $35 hourly + GST. If extra cleaning is required after your departure, you will be notified and charged at a cost of $35 hourly + GST.
The person making and paying for the reservation is financially responsible for the cost of repairs arising from damage beyond normal wear and tear. Tofino Beach Collective has the right to charge the credit card of the person making the booking for any damages including, but not limited to, carpet/floor stains, interior wall damage, appliance repairs due to improper use, window and window covering damage, permanent linen stains, drycleaning costs associated with stains, breakage, theft, and any other damage noted on departure.
Our homes are located in a residential neighbourhood and we do not permit them to be used as venues for events including weddings, receptions, reunions or gatherings of more people than what the home is permitted to accommodate. This policy is in place to protect the quiet enjoyment of neighbours, to mitigate parking issues and to ensure minimal wear and tear.
Our homes are licensed to accommodate a maximum of six guests. Tents, campers or trailers are not permitted. If you arrive with more than the permitted number of occupants, or have more than the number of permitted occupants during your stay, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. The number of occupants is enforced by the District of Tofino.
One or two dogs are welcome. A $10 Pet Fee + GST & PST per day, per pet, is applicable. Guests are responsible for picking up and disposing of dog poop. Further, dogs must not be left unattended in our homes at any time. Please keep your dog off the furniture and do not let him or her sleep in the bed with you (yes, this has happened!). Tofino has a Leash Bylaw so please respect this at all times when on the beaches or in town.
Our homes offer hot tubs for the enjoyment of our guests. Our hot tubs are regularly and rigorously inspected for cleanliness before and after your departure. Please review and abide by The Ten Hot Tub Commandments provided.
Tofino Beach Collective is not responsible for any personal items left behind. Please do a final inspection before leaving! If items are required to be returned, we will ship at your cost.
By proceeding with a rental of accommodation provided by Tofino Beach Collective in its capacity as a rental agent, you are acknowledging that you have read, understood and accept the General Policies herein noted. Further, you agree to pay all accommodation costs and associated fees, and you agree to the limitation of Tofino Beach Collective’s liability.
