Summary
Inside, guests enjoy open-concept living on two levels. On the entry level, the outside is brought in with a wall of large, picture-windows. One continuously takes in the beach and the surf from almost every room in the house. The chef-inspired kitchen features a gas stove and a large island with seating for four. A custom, locally-crafted dining table by Paul Owen Woodworks graces the dining space. The living area features contemporary furnishings, original art, and a gas fireplace with a copper hood. The den offers comfortable seating and a flat-screen TV. There is a full bathroom (tub/shower) and a laundry room on the main level.
On the second level, guests enjoy an art lounge and three bedrooms, each with their own private ensuite. Osprey Beach House offers two primary bedrooms, both beach-facing and featuring a king-size bed and full ensuite with separate shower, two sinks, heated floors, and soaker tub. A third bedroom with forest views offers two twin beds and a private ensuite with tub/shower and heated floors.
On both levels, Osprey Beach House features a spectacular collection of original, contemporary Canadian art by artists Marion Evamy, Chin Yuen, Nikki Baxendale, Irma Soltonovich, Frances Shaw, Peter Ramos and others.
Outside, guests immerse themselves in nature: the ocean, the waves, the beach, the birdlife, the ever-changing driftwood and log formations, the surfers, and the briny, brisk ocean air. Relax on the large, beach-facing deck with hot tub, outdoor shower, BBQ, and seating for six. And, conveniently located a short stroll to the world-renowned Wickaninnish Inn, Canada’s number one resort, guests can treat themselves to dinner at the Pointe Restaurant, coffee in the Driftwood Lounge, a spa treatment at Ancient Cedars Spa, or a cocktail in On-the-Rocks Bar.
